France population figure
[edit]Cookiemonster1618 and Skitash, you've both recently reverted Khojasaheb's edits to the infobox population figure for Algerians in France, without explanation in your edit summaries. The figure of 1,637,000 that Khojasaheb added is supported by the source they cited, whereas the three reference links next to the 5,000,000 figure don't take me to pages that support it. You might have been reverting because of other aspects of Khojasaheb's changes, but the change in the population figure seems sensible to me. Cordless Larry (talk) 16:47, 19 September 2024 (UTC)

- No I did not but most other sources mentioned there were 1.3 million Algerians in France according to the 2008 census. Thats not the issue because now there is continued vandalism on this article with another IP address renaming disambiguation links. Cookiemonster1618 (talk) 21:10, 19 September 2024 (UTC)

- When you revert an edit, it restores the previous version of the article. Please take more care in future to consider what you're reverting and to explain why you're doing it (if it's not obvious vandalism) in the edit summary. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:40, 20 September 2024 (UTC)

Question regarding small diaspora figures in infobox
[edit]I noticed in the infobox, in the "Regions with significant populations" that numbers like Brazil (927) and even Mali (1000)(unless for historical/cultural reasons), are not significant to add, I suggest to remove some and put a significant threshold, otherwise many other countries with such small numbers may also be included. - - Cipher Nox (talk) 00:23, 29 May 2026 (UTC)
