I know a number of editors from past dates (this one back to 2007) have done a massive good-faith copyright violation across many articles, but it would be appreciated if before deleting the copyrighted material, a synopsis of material to be deleted be provided, so those of us who have corrected items over time can rebuild the article from other sources. It is immensely frustrating to guess at what has been deleted, or what structure should be put in place; and easier to examine what was lost, and go searching for new reliable sources. We put a lot of time into trying to improve articles to have the work trashed. I can follow my edit summaries, but others lack a lot of informative detail. Thank for what you are doing, but it would be helpful to have the synopsis as well. It is easier to write from a skeleton guide.–Q8682 (talk) 08:48, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
