No indeed! I know him personally, and he told me it was his 50th birthday one day in the mid 2010s. Unfortunately I don't remember exactly what year that was, but he was probably born sometime in the 1964–1966 range. The article even says he was a student "for many years" of Gavin Williamson, who died in 1989. Clearly Alex wasn't 11 or 12 when his university-level piano teacher died! —Mahāgaja · talk 13:11, 28 April 2023 (UTC)

The article reads like something produced by a marketing department, rather than being in the neutral, encyclopedic, and objective tone required by Wikipedia - for instance text like "Frey is in great demand as one of the world's most versatile conductors".
