Date format used for citations

[edit]

There's a bit of inconsistency with respect to the format being used for the publication dates of the various citations that've been added over the years, which is something that's not really desirable per MOS:DATEUNIFY. Since Prager is American, it would seem that the US "Month-Day-Year" format would be acceptable per MOS:DATETIES. For reference, this does seem to be format that was also used by the creator of the article, so there's a MOS:DATEVAR reason for using it as well. Anyone have any issues with using this format for all of the citations? -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:17, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Infobox image

[edit]

The image currently being used in the infobox (File:BTS Alex Prager TabithaDenholm.jpeg) seems to be the image preferred by the subject of the article per WP:HD#Removing Image; it seems fine and shouldn't be an issue once the copyright holder's consent has been verified by Wikimedia VRT. The previously used image (File:Alex Prager in 2022 02.jpg) also, in my opinion, seems fine and its licensing appears to be OK. Are there any opinions as to which one should be used for the main infobox image? Any objections to using both images in the article: one for the infobox and one in-body? If, for example, some sourced content about the short film Run is found and added to the article, it might make sense contexutually to use that image near that content and use the other one in main infobox. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:25, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Assuming the copyright issue gets sorted out, I'm ok with using the color image in the lead. Perhaps a little cropping would be good. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 13:50, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Agree. Nothing obviously wrong with either image. The colour one (cropped closer) would be preferable for the infobox in my opinion. We generally seem to prefer head-and-shoulder closeups there. AndyTheGrump (talk) 14:29, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'm fine with using 2 images, though IMO "Alex Prager in 2022 02.jpg" is a better quality image for us than "BTS Alex Prager TabithaDenholm.jpeg". -Lopifalko (talk) 15:21, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
