Missing Spain itself!

Contrary to what the article says at the moment, this was one of the most important taxes in Spain itself. It was not imposed only on the Dutch & in the colonies. I'm about to start reworking it accordingly. I'll assume that what is here is accurate as far as it goes. - Jmabel | Talk 20:39, 1 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

1341 or 1342?

In one section it says the tax began in 1342 but later on it says what the rate was in 1341, implying the tax is even older than this. The history section should maybe be moved above the Significance and Rates section to clarify why these dates are used. Rosswagner1985 (talk) 16:25, 31 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
