Etymology

[edit]

Where has the information on etymology given here come from? It has the look of original research and gives no sources. There is no way that PC. alamo- could give Br. Alaunos - the former is Welsh alaf and the latter Alun. Unless this is properly cited I will remove it. Psammead (talk) 15:37, 23 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the long-winded discussion of etymology, which was uncited, and replaced it with a brief explanation. It may require expansion if other people have appropriate sources to reference. Psammead (talk) 08:14, 21 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
