Does anyone have a reliable cite for Alan Keith and David Kossoff NOT being brothers? (the filial reference in both entries were removed by 212.135.163.83 (talk) in June. Both the BBC who employed both of them and the Independent seem to think they were, although an 11 year age gap and some discrepancies in their (sketchy) early biographies suggest they possibly were not. There seems to be far less in the Kossoff obituaries (2005) referencing Keith than vice versa (2003).Stevew2022 (talk) 21:14, 28 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The latter could be explained by the fact that David Kossoff was - in his day, anyway - a far bigger celebrity than Alan Keith - ie the "fact" that David was Alan's brother would be of more interest than vice versa. I was always under the impression that Alan was Paul Kossoff (Free)'s uncle, and the BBC says that he was, but I suppose that assertion is no different to insisting that his father was Alan's brother. So ...? IXIA (talk) 21:11, 19 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Keith could have been Paul Kossoff's uncle but it doesn't follow that Keith is David Kossoff's brother. How about Alan Keith and David Kossoff being brothers-in-law?146.198.148.141 (talk) 14:44, 21 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
