Labor history

Should Dr. Garber's article be developed in terms of labor history because of his role in Harvard's graduate student unionization efforts? MaynardClark (talk) 15:25, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

What was he doing between 1986 and 2011?

The article does not mention what Dr. Garber was doing between completing his medical residency in 1986 and assuming the position of provost at Harvard in 2011.

A 25-year gap is rather significant. The article would be much improved if it filled in this missing information.

Cited Atlantic Article Does Not Support Statement in Article

The article states, "According to the The Atlantic, Garber believes that Harvard has failed to confront campus anti-Semitism similarly to the position of the Trump administration." However, the cited Atlantic article states, "The administration had been publicly flogging elite universities for failing to confront campus anti-Semitism. But Garber—a practicing Jew with a brother living in Israel—believed Harvard had done exactly that." The cited source does not support the sentence from the Wikipedia article - in fact it says the opposite.
