I'm adding a COI tag to this article, since the revision history page shows that several prominent contributors are named after the family in both English and Arabic.
In addition, the article suffers significantly from sub-standard prose.
I started to do some copyediting, but realized that it's at times difficult to surmise the actual meaning of some of what's written here, and the sources used don't seem easy to access. If someone wanted to take it upon themselves to start looking for these sources (or alternative ones), it would be of great help.
