Lack of sources

Large chunks of this relatively newly created article appear to be written without any citations, in obvious violation of Wikipedia:Citing sources and WP:V. Thanks for the notice. This article seems to have had a history of Russian bias. I recently tried to neutralize all language in the article to simply reflect objective reports and sources.Thelovelyconch (talk) 21:47, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

Map is wrong

Hello, the text says that Al-Tanf is located in Homs Governorate, and this is correct. However, the map (second one from above in the article, this one) shows the place in Rif Dimashq Governorate. The problem is not the location of the red point but the template used for the map: it shows the frontier between Homs and Rif Dimashq as running north-east from the point where the Jordan-Iraq frontier touches the Syrian frontier, when in fact it runs south-west of that point. It's easy to check just by looking at Google Maps. Unfortunately I'm no expert in Wikimedia templates and can't fix it myself. Ilyacadiz (talk) 14:09, 12 September 2021 (UTC)

Rolf h nelson added the a citation to something he called "Kaine-Trump ISIS War Letters"

Searching for "Kaine-Trump ISIS War Letters" brings up only this wikipedia article. I do not want to remove the U.S.'s justification for the occupation of Syria but I do not want to include Rolf h nelson's original research via his primary source. Unsubstantiated "plundering" accusation

Xinhua News Agency, the official state news agency of the People's Republic of China, otherwise described by most reputable sources as a mouthpiece (although I think this is loaded personally), make an accusation of "plundering" in the quote under Legality.

Given there is no substantiation, this probably should either be removed or how to go about this? AnExtraEditor (talk) 04:55, 8 December 2024 (UTC)

Typo/grammar mistakes in second sentence of this paragraph below:

On 18 May 2017, U.S. fighter jets struck a convoy of pro-Syrian government forces advancing towards the base.Shortly thereafter, Syrian government forces were reported to continue their advance in a direction the government forces appeared to use advanced Russian-made weapons and were supported by Russian helicopters, according to a report acknowledged on May 26 by the Russian Defence Ministry′s media outlet.
