Aitarak = Indonesian word for thorn?!

The last time I checked, the Indonesian word for thorn is duri, and I've never seen "Aitarak" used in Indonesian except to refer to the name of the militia group. So what language is it really from? Tetum? Somebody had better clarify this, quick.
