Movement of the article on 17-11-24

Hello Pridemanty, I wanted to respond to this and discuss the sources I used in my article about Air up. Many of these sources are German and may not be widely recognized outside of Germany. Süddeutsche Zeitung and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung are Germany’s largest newspapers. We used articles published in these sources because they are independent, reliable, and secondary. Additionally, they provide significant coverage of the topic, thus satisfying the SIRS criteria. Spiegel, Manager Magazin, and Handelsblatt are other major German publications we used as sources. These outlets also meet the criteria of being independent and reliable, and the articles cited offer significant coverage of the topic. With these sources, I believe sufficient evidence has been provided to demonstrate the company’s notability. If there are any particular sources you are unsure about, please let me know, and I can provide further context. I am also open to any feedback and willing to make improvements to the draft if necessary. Additionally, I would like to include Wikishovel, who approved the draft and speaks German. 3 euros??

Page currently says:

“Over the years, the company has raised over €3 through various funding rounds, attracting investments from beverage company PepsiCo and venture capitalist Frank Thelen. In the fiscal year 2022, air up reported a revenue increase of 75%, reaching approximately €67.”

I don’t know how to wikipedia properly and I don’t really understand the source (I have no idea how I even got here, honestly) so I’m not going to edit it— but I feel like there’s a typo here 😅 so if someone smarter than me wants to have a look, it’s probably worth editing.

Unless PepsiCo and other companies actually did give them a total of €3 in funding. Cost of living crisis hits hard, I guess. ~2025-34457-37 (talk) 02:16, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Capitalization issues

The title is "Air Up", but the company, when mentioned, is named "air up".

Do we change all instances of "air up" to "Air Up", or do we move this article to Air up and put a {{lowercase title}}?

Competition and claim of being the 1st

The article says (which is sourced) "The company claims to have developed a drinking system that works through scents by means of retronasal smell." but there was sbd else, it seems, first to the market section Do they keep all their promises?, The Right Cup. I think this should be mentioned in the article. Maybe they were the first with the idea and patent but TRC beat them to market (maybe going around the patent) - regardless it should be mentioned. ~2026-30106-14 (talk) 18:01, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
