There's a problem with this page. As far as I can see, there's no evidence that Agnes Hotot ever existed. The earliest source given on the page (Collins, 1741) is also the ONLY source. There are no mentions of her before Collins, nothing in genealogies, histories, etc. Everything refers back to Collins, ultimately. And there are contemporary records which appear to contradict him.
I think Agnes should not be represented as a historical figure, but as a story.
