Spurious language

[edit]

Sidwell and Elwin have both categorically stated the Agariya language is probably made up. This is supported by census data which says Agariyas speak Hindi and Chhattisgarhi. This article should probably be deleted. C1MM (talk) 06:55, 1 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Agariya's existense

[edit]

As an Agariya from northwest Odisha, the Agariya language is quite different from Hindi and is related closely to Odia, Sundergarhi, Chhattisgarhi and Sambalpuri. It is the language of the Agaria sect and it has been used for generations. Simonsorf (talk) 05:34, 5 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
