@Heba Aisha: Recently you reverted my edit on this page, where i removed unsourced opinion of an editor which violated WP:NPoV, despite having given an edit summary. You should have made consensus on the same before just reverting an edit and trying to WP:OWN a page. If you believe the content is available in the cited source please let me know, else i will undo your revert Lord 0f Avernus (talk) 18:12, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it's just a generic statement and it's known that the upper caste are supporters of status quo. Further, it's taken from the book source. Please read the whole Pages cited there rather than reverting it.@Lord 0f Avernus:.Heba Aisha (talk) 22:01, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
A generic statement is only ok if its obvious, whats the status quo in 1970s is not the status quo today or in future. This sentence needs to be reframed to reflect that. Also the source cited for that para doesn't mention any such thing. https://www.satp.org/satporgtp/countries/india/terroristoutfits/massacres.htm
Maybe i am being blind under a noon sun, but could you just tell the page no and book name, since i have again gone through the source cited and couldn't find the material there. Pardon my noviceness. Lord 0f Avernus (talk) 15:18, 20 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Heba Aisha I would be ok with something that reflects past sense or that we are talking of the time when this massacre happened. Just imagine someone reading this in 2070 , will the status of castes remain the same as in 1970s, or will there even be caste anymore? You could just rephrase it as "upper caste, who WERE supporters of the existing status quo, and the lower castes, who WANTED to change the current system" , this signals past sense. I hope we can agree to this. In good faith i have not removed your edit yet. Lord 0f Avernus (talk) 05:08, 21 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Heba Aisha: still awaiting your reply, i dont think what i suggested above should still be a point of conflict as it addresses concerns of both of us. I will go ahead with this modification then, unless you want to discuss further Lord 0f Avernus (talk) 10:57, 21 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
