Disclosure: I have a conflict of interest because my employer represents the Ah Loo family. Therefore, I am proposing the following neutral, well-sourced additions and request that a volunteer editor review and make any final decisions on inclusion.

Proposed addition to “Shooting” or “Death” section:

On June 29, 2024, Afa Ah Loo was shot during the "No Kings" protest in downtown Salt Lake City. He later died from his injuries. His family has publicly called for accountability, citing failures in police response and emergency medical aid.
