I am a student in a linguistics class. I am adding the sounds of this language for a class assignment.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Andilou3 (talkcontribs) 00:24, 22 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

This is *not* the phonological inventory for the language that this article about. Not even close. I think there has been some serious confusion about the identity of the language. Needs to be fixed by referring to Beier & Michael's work. Ldmanthroling (talk) 19:47, 26 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Tequiraca languageAʔɨwa languageWP:COMMONNAME; recent sources call it Aʔɨwa, and the name Tequiraca is minimally used for the language (also support move to some variant of Awishira for same reason) 🪐Kepler-1229b | talk | contribs🪐 15:43, 6 May 2026 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). 162 etc. (talk) 16:40, 6 May 2026 (UTC)  Relisting. Jeffrey34555 (talk) 19:26, 13 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

In order to remedy the untypability, the article could be renamed "Aewa language", as Glottolog has done, or alternatively a variant of Awishira, though the latter is less desirable. 🪐Kepler-1229b | talk | contribs🪐 02:17, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
