Timescale?

I don't see any timescale for this happening? The government document is itself billed as "A summary of proposals to introduce the Advanced British Standard, a new Baccalaureate-style qualification for 16 to 19 year olds.".

Given that a general election is looming, it seems very unlikely for the government being able to implement this before then. Is there an actual planned roll-out time, or is this really just an aspirational discussion document? — The Anome (talk) 16:49, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

An absolute no! The last curriculum reform took 10 years (2010-2020). This will never fly. KJP1 (talk) 16:30, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

That's not true. The last last curriculum reform was in the early 2010s (2011-2014). The reformed curriculum was introduced in September 2014. A-Levels were also reformed a few years after. 2A00:23C7:69C9:5101:2CB5:6521:A458:C853 (talk) 17:42, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
