Is "Admission Note" the best word?
[edit]IMHO this term is illogical. I think it would be better to call it a "DISCHARGE note" or "DISCHARGE summary".Thomas.Hedden (talk) 19:04, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
Hospital Admission should not redirect here
[edit]There are various types of "hospital admissions" and the considerations and issues are completely distinct from "what information gets put in the medical record". For instance, there are elective and emergent admissions and admission for observation, as an inpatient, as an outpatient, and to the Emergency Department.
