The reason you gave for moving the tombstone image was a WP:IMAGE LEAD which states: "For most topics, the selection of a lead image is plainly obvious: a photograph or artistic work of a person, photographs of a city, or a cover of a book or album, to name a few." It does not ban tombstone images from the infobox. I would agree that a drawing of the person or a photograph would be much better, but it seems silly to move the image to below the box based on your interpretation of WP:IMAGE LEAD. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 04:33, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

A tombstone image for a person in the infobox is inappropriate. It can be used within the body, but it is a vast misrepresentation of the person. --MASEM (t) 04:51, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

I quote from Talk:Stephen H. Wendover - "putting an image of the gravestone in the image box is nothing short of preposterous, and I will have no further comment on that point..." by User Bbb23. WP:IMAGE LEAD certainly bans tombstones from the infobox of persons. It requires a depiction of the person. Kraxler (talk) 15:25, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

While consensus is against it and I respect that, you still are not quoting the guideline which reads: "the selection of a lead image is plainly obvious: a photograph or artistic work of a person".
