Article misnamed?

This article appears to be more about "doctors of" addiction medicine than about "addiction medicine"... is the article misnamed? Valrith 23:56, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

I named the article because most other medical specialties had entries. The flaw, then, is not with the article name, but with the content itself, which I quickly wrote mostly as a place-holder until I or others could return. I've rewritten the first few lines so as to more precisely describe the material correctly, but this still needs a great deal of work. Drgitlow 04:18, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Wiki Education assignment: Composition II edits

To improve this article, I added a section titled 'History of Addiction Medicine' to give readers a background on addiction medicine. I also added a section titiled 'Schooling to Become an Addiction Specialist' so that readers understand what it takes to become a specialist in addiction medicine. I have edited and removed the part on "schooling to become an addiction specialist" as this was incorrect/not relevant to addiction medicine, and instead was referring to general addiction.
