Philanthropist in lead / category again

Since this has been edit-warred back in... per my usual argument in WP:PHILANTHROPIST, this isn't a WP:DEFINING aspect here, and beyond that, the status of his donations as philanthropy is clearly disputed in the sources (with the sources that lean towards describing them as "philanthropy" leaning more towards the WP:BIASED end of the spectrum and therefore not usable for describing them as philanthropy in the article voice.) See the previous discussion for a list of sources. Philanthropist is a value-laden label per WP:LABEL, and therefore cannot be used in the article voice unless the best available sources are broadly unanimous in treating it as uncontested fact; since that isn't the case here, we should use more neutral terms like donations instead, and avoid putting it in the first sentence of the lead or in categories. --Aquillion (talk) 03:25, 14 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

It can be removed per WP:NOCON. Previously I proposed this for the lede based on extensive review of all available reliable sources: Adam Milstein is an Israeli and American pro-Israel donor and the chairman of the Israeli-American Council (IAC).
