Conflict of interest disclosure
[edit]I am close friends with Adam Hort and therefore have a personal conflict of interest.
I note some significant gaps in his professional clinical experience and local government experience that are worth including but don't want to edit the article directly due to my COI.
Proposed addition: professional pharmacy career
[edit]| The user below has a request that an edit be made to Adam Hort. That user has an actual or apparent conflict of interest. The requested edits backlog is very high. Please be extremely patient. There are currently 891 requests waiting for review. Please read the instructions for the parameters used by this template for accepting and declining them, and review the request below and make the edit if it is well sourced, neutral, and follows other Wikipedia guidelines and policies. Remember to set the |answered= parameter to "yes" when the request has been accepted, rejected or on hold awaiting user input. |
I have disclosed above that I am a friend of Adam Hort and am making this request because I am concerned his past isn't included. I am not being paid but we are a part of the same local community.
The article currently identifies Adam only as a pharmacist. I am requesting the addition of a short paragraph outlining his substantial professional career before entering Parliament.
Possible placement: after the opening paragraph and before the paragraph concerning his City of Gosnells service.
Possible wording for an independent editor to consider:
Before entering Parliament, Adam worked in clinical pharmacy, including as a heart-transplant pharmacist. WA Health records also list him as a senior pharmacist at Fiona Stanley Hospital and a member of a Transplant Medicine expert advisory group. In 2022, he co-authored the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia’s ''Standard of practice in cardiology for pharmacy services''. He later served as Director of Pharmacy (Chief Pharmacist) for the WA Country Health Service and lectured at the University of Western Australia.

Because of my disclosed conflict of interest, I have not edited the article directly and leave the final wording, placement and weight to an uninvolved editor. PerthHills (talk) 13:59, 27 September 2026 (UTC)
