Why is this called Adam's Peak?
[edit]I can't find any reliable sources that call it Adams peak, and even the article states that it has been called Sri Pada by billions of people across all of Asia for centuries? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arohan19 (talk • contribs) 23:20, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

No trace of why it is referred to as Adams Peak?

Marco Polo's reference
[edit]Marco Polo speaks of a relic on top of the mountain containing teeth and hair of Buddha, or (unlikely in his view) Adam. He also mentions the chains, earlier than Ibn Battuta, which should be reported. 2001:968:12:2102:0:0:0:80 (talk) 08:43, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
