[edit]If, as the Talk section front material suggests, this is an important plant article, then there should be some oversight that stops the steady influx of edits presented without citation, which for that reason and otherwise, generally flaunt WP:VERIFY and WP:OR.
This goes beyond the earlier plagiarism of the 1911 EB in the medical section, discussed above, and is likely even more pervasive than the currect section and article tags suggests. (Every citation we checked was poorly presented or extracted, suggesting that sourcing is being done post hoc, finding a near enough source, and then affixing it without editing the sentence to reflect the actual source content.)
In particular, an entire section's worth of literary and pop culture material was errantly tacked on to Taxonomy, the vast majority as unsourced single statements, all of which are now called out.
Registered editors, please feel free to do the bold editing, to remove much of it (which I do not do, to avoid being seen as a vandal). Cheers. 98.206.14.11 (talk) 04:04, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
Unclear routes of exposure in the introductory paragraph of toxicology
[edit]While it's natural and perhaps reasonable to assume that the amounts referred to as dangerous are so when ingested or injected in the circulation, some dangerous substances can be dangerous enough even with contact through the skin. Respiratory paralysis is somewhat vaguely suggestive of something that's even dangerous to inhale, although it seems more likely just an effect "regardless" of how the exposure happens, not specific from inhalation, which may not even pose significant danger. These uncertainties can make very inconvenient if some accident happens in the event of an hypothetical meeting with someone with whom one may have allegedly some friendly difference of opinion, makes it considerably harder to plan things to guarantee to avoid what could be an unfortunate accident in such completely hypothetical circumstance. Despite the accidental nature surely preventing anyone from being unfairly accused of some wrongdoing, better information could help preventing the worse, from any mistakes or accidents happening completely unintentionally and innocently. 177.152.86.21 (talk) 19:47, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
Image sizing
[edit]Can someone please adjust the size of the images so they don't make the entire page movable from side to side? I don't know how to do this personally. ~2026-40276-57 (talk) 20:01, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
