[edit]This, as it stands, is very far from meeting the encyclopedia's criterion. It was tagged because of an almost total lack of regard for standards here. Elphinstone?
[edit]Who is this Elphinstone mentioned in the introduction? The link leads to a disambiguation page, and one cant know who the Elphinstone is, a direct link is needed. Lilaac (talk) 15:02, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- Well I've now trimmed it all out - and a good deal more besides. If his stuff was written in 1814 it's over 200 years out of date - surely in the last 40 years of Afghanistan being continually in the news there's been something better written that we could use? Snori (talk) 08:12, 9 May 2017 (UTC)
