Repair of Acetabular labrum-left hip
[edit]Has anyone suffered any type of traumatic injury to the acetabular labrum of the hip that required sugery?
If so, what were the benefits or long range effects of it? Also did it lead to total hip replacement? There is evidence that the injury has caused some trauma related arthritist and doctors at this point are undecided as to do total hip replacement or repairatory. If repairs are done, there is no promise the outcome will be long lasting, meaning it could eventually lead to toatal hip replacement. I am 56 years of age with no disease in the bones except for what has developed since the injury. I know with age more complications can and will most likely develope.
I know there must be some recently developed medical techniques out there somewhere that can surgically repair the hip w/o the extremes of a total hip replacement. I'm hoping to avoid further disability or handicap if possible.

Split to Acetabbular labrum tear
[edit]A split has been proposed (not by me)
- Support - currently the article is unduly weighted towards the tear, both the anatomical subject and tear are independently notable. Therefore, although the child articles will be smaller, I support a split.Tom (LT) (talk) 05:33, 27 August 2023 (UTC)
