Accentus Ecclesiasticus → ecclesiastical accent – musical history texts in English are about 50/50 on Google Books as to whether Latin or English is used first, but either way passes "commonly used" per WP:UE in English. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:59, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

• Move to accentus. The Harvard dictionary of music describes this style of music as "accentus" -- no "ecclesiasticus" or "ecclesiastical." If it is accentus ecclesiasticus, then it should logically be concentus ecclesiasticus, but you certainly don't see that one very often. Here is how the terms were originally defined by Ornithoparchus: "Concentus might be chief ruler over all things that are sung...and Accentus over all things that are read."
