it is orphaned, it fits into Trans-New_Guinea_languages perfectly if stated info is correct. As a side note, since only 15 people speak it, I doubt we can expect much help expanding it here. Pharmboy 17:13, 26 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

To my mind this article shouldn't be merged with Trans-New Guinea languages. Any natural language is surely intrinsically notable enough to warrant its own article, even if it becomes extinct. Being orphaned is just a reflection of the need for better linking and navigation around articles in this language family (and beyond). The fieldwork is minimal, but at least there is some: there are plenty of languages in PNG that have not been linguistically studied any more than this.
