Zinn's criticism

[edit]

Untitled

[edit]

After reading the source for Howard Zinn's criticism of the book, it appears that he is actually criticizing a review that Samantha Power wrote, and not the book itself. This is what he says about the book:

"Samantha Power has done extraordinary work in chronicling the genocides of our time, and in exposing how the Western powers were complicit by their inaction."[1]

Shouldn't we mention only his opinion of this book, and not other works by the author? - VikasGorur (talk) 00:05, 21 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

i'm an american are you blaming me for armenia ? and by the way there are many european countries allot closer to armenia than the usa that could help. usa condemned the civil war there is no doubt.

furthermore europeans in the late 80's and 90's complained profusely it was unfair americans were doing better than their corrupt ways.

voltzwagen was working workers 1/2 day and had $8/gal $12/gal gas and fiat was going tits up. They had american car makerss buy their share, built new moder facotries to make luxury cars in their own courtries: and now claim chryster, who bought their debt, is their company

meanwhile europeans have flooded into our government with corrupt socialist ways and our gas prices have shot up and our social security is apparently "missing"

it is the attitude of parliaments and corruption to blame america for progress and verbally attack it, get into the country, demand our government buy foreign services, run with the money, and make america as miserable as they were

and will be. when the folly of bilking all the infrastructure out of the US is gone and US has a europe government who will there be to borrow from ? who will bail out when corrupt socialists are back to factories running workers 1/2 and $10/gal gas ??

Europe can point fingers but it was the government unionism and corruption and feudalism of europe , the socialist parliaments, that were problem causers. not the usa. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.209.222.174 (talk) 05:09, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
