COI request about "Clif Shayne" vs. "Clif"

[edit]

Hey @User:Scoutguy138, @QuietHere, @RXLFZ, and anyone else interested in my minor quibble! I have met Clif Shayne (a producer on two of the songs) in social settings, hence the COI request. I was surprised to see him billed as "Clif" instead of his usual "Clif Shayne". Looks like the first version of the article had him as "Clif Shayne" and then User:Scoutguy138 switched it to "Clif" (diff, edit summary is “update producers based on official credits”). Which official credits say "Clif"? I did a cursory search and he's "Clif Shayne" on Genius (click the dropdown menu for Pots and Nightcore 2), and in this Pitchfork review. Nevermind! Just saw that Spotify's credits say "Clif" and credit Opium/Interscope Records. Disregard everything I said before; you were right Scoutguy138. BTW, thanks for all your work on album articles :-) Crunchydillpickle🥒 (talk) 16:14, 15 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
