Same as a trimmed mean?

This is original research by one person
[edit]The only valid reference points to an online article which is almost identical with this one. There, the author of the article has given the filter their own name. So it appears that someone had an idea, named it after themselves, and then created a Wikipedia article for it. "Possible uses" are given, but there is no evidence of any actual use, nor any evidence of it actually doing what is claimed. And the algorithm is the same as the trimmed mean. 92.3.51.142 (talk) 14:16, 28 July 2018 (UTC)
