what is it?

[edit]

Is this a protein or an enzyme? The category changed over time, I just added what one per the opening sentence. Hooperbloob (talk) 06:08, 25 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Inaccurate Image

[edit]

The current header image (found here) appears to be inaccurate. It claims to be the structure of the ATP5E protein, but the source (see here) is from the entire ATP synthase F1 subunit, while ATP5E only codes for the epsilon chain of the subunit. The image source identifies the ATP5E protein as only a subunit of the entire F1 ATPase. Either the image needs to be replaced with one of solely the protein chain created by ATP5E or the caption needs to be clarified to say that ATP5F1E gene only codes for part of the ATPase.

Added a caption to WikiData, but we'll see if it shows up on the page infobox Mrfoogles (talk) 08:18, 24 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
