[edit]This organization is the primary vehicle for the Global Pharmaceutical Industry to create common standards. I think the post can certainly be added to for further detail, but this is definitely a relevant association for industry that warrants an encyclopedic entry. BPE Standards
[edit]"The first edition of the standard was approved on May 20, 1997." How is the standard designated? It should be cited properly as an external reference. Is there a corresponding ISO standard?
