- I disagree. The K8 is used in a number of processors, only one of which is the Athlon 64. --Doradus 13:28, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
K8 is not the same as Athlon 64

- Reply. PLEASE DO change this redirection back to a stub. In fact lets fill it out properly as the K8 microarchitecture. It is really stupid that K8 redirects to Athlon64 when it is the Opteron processor that first brought out K8 (on 21-April-2003). Athlon64 based K8's did not come out until much later. Not to mention Turion which is also based on the K8 uArch. --Dr unix (talk) 02:37, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
