Zero coverage of human rights issues and abuses in Qatar
[edit]It needs to be noted that AJ+ is basically one-sided coverage. That is coverage that covers issues mostly outside of Qatar, Al Jazeera's base country. AJ+ criticizes the US endlessly for its social and rights issues yet it completely 100% ignores all Qatari human rights issues. It criticizes other governments but lets its home base country's rulers totally abuse their population. You could even say that AJ+ is a propagandist in hiding the lies and abuses of the Qatari monarchy and Islamist fascists within its home country's borders. This is AJ+. This fact needs to be included in the review of this entity. If anyone can prove that this organization is actively covering the human rights abuses going on in Qatar please post links. Wikipedia has evidence of some of the human rights abuses going on in Qatar. Where's the coverage?

Criticism and controversy
[edit]@Noamperetz10: surely the 2019 Holocaust video should be moved to the "history" section and removed from the lead and the criticism section. Best practice is to incorporate positive and negative material into the same section. That way we comply with WP:NPOV; see also WP:CRITSECT. Given that the 2019 Holocaust video had no lasting impact on AJ+, it is completely WP:UNDUE to mention it in the lead. @Bluethricecreamman, Cinaroot, and NotBartEhrman: what do you think?-- Toddy1 (talk) 19:18, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
