Move this to AES?

[edit]

If you look at Special:Whatlinkshere/AES, you'll see that there are about 50 pages which link to AES, all of which are expecting Advanced Encryption Standard. Until those links are changed, AES should remain a redirect. Gdr 09:24, 2005 Apr 18 (UTC)

It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it to be moved. violet/riga (t) 14:08, 23 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Someone moved it anyway, without bothering to update the links. We're fixing them slowly. Matt Crypto 10:47, 17 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Primary topic

[edit]

I just prioritised the Advanced Encryption Standard entry by using alphab sort and split from science/tech as I expect it is almost (but not quite) a primary topic. In future, we may want to consider having AES as a primary topic redirect to Advanced Encryption Standard. Widefox; talk 12:28, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
