Suspected error

[edit]

The following sentence seems wrong: Change of Patriarch of Constantinople from Patriarch Eleutherius to Patriarch Felix.

First, the city of Constantinople was given that name only in 330AD, and there hasn't been a position of "patriarch of Constantinople" before that year.

Second, clicking the link to the Patriarch Eleutherius takes you to the entry of a patriarch of Alexandria with the same name, who according to that entry served in this office between the years 1175 to 1180.

Please check the source of this sentence and either provide a reliable source to support it, or remove it. 77.137.71.210 (talk) 17:54, 1 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
