Idea

May I suggest changing to a format similar to the TNA Legends Championship and the TNA Women's Knockout Championship? It may make the article a bit better and have it in range for GAN.--WillC 14:44, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Okay, glad I could help. Thought to pass the idea along. May help the articles not long enough for FLC. The Legends Belt is on GAN, so we'll find out soon if it is good enough to become a GA.--WillC 15:04, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

The JJ image...

It seems odd to give him so much prominence when the title was never referred to by its name in TNA TV. I would understand if the image showed the alternative TNA design, but it's just a photo of him strutting. Both Mesias (as the first) and Texano (as the longest reigning) are more relevant to that section, and when both of them went to international promotions the title was referred to by name. 166.172.186.186 (talk) 17:36, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Torneo Campeón De Campeóns brackets

Information concerning the tournament seems to be inaccurate, and the tournament itself is rather messy so bear with me. The participants and the championships involved are accurate, aside from one title: the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship.

Information is, at best, sketchy concerning the Mexican title. Wrestling-Titles.com states that the title was vacated when champion Charly Manson lost a match to Chessman on 13-Aug-2007, as Chessman was ineligible to hold the title since he was not (billed as) a Mexican native. However, Wikipedia's own article states that AAA declared the title vacant, but Manson continued to defend it on the independent circuit.

On 16-Aug-2007, Cibernético successfully defended the IWC title in his first round match against Mr. Niebla, only to lose the title to El Mesias in a non-tournament match on the same card. Manson also defeated Suzuki to advance, but this is not showing up as a Mexican Championship match anywhere I've looked.

On 19-Aug 2007, Chessman defeated El Zorro for the UWA title, and Mesias beat La Parka to win the GPCW title, unifying it with the IWC belt.

On 13-Sep-2007, the semi-finals became a three-way match, with Cibernético out due to dropping the ICW title outside the tournament. Manson was pinned by Mesias, leaving Mesias and Chessman to compete in the final, and Mesias to become the inaugural AAA Mega Champion.

I have no idea how to explain this more concisely, or how to update the tournament bracket. Any ideas? Morogth (talk) 21:22, 15 November 2025 (UTC)
