Talk:A-level

Change page name from A-Level to A Level.

Based on the more authoritative sources in this article (government websites, exam boards, etc.), the term 'A Level' should not be hyphenated. I have tried to move the page myself but have been unsuccessful, can anyone help me with this? PentagonPizza (talk) 16:49, 28 October 2022 (UTC)

I know this is from 3 years ago but I came to the Talk page to discuss the exact same topic. I'll change it - it is, indeed, A level, not A-level. Burgermachine74 (talk) 09:18, 15 February 2026 (UTC)

  How is this a matter of WP:ENGVAR? The article title isn't in sentence case, which is already an issue, and there's no evidence to suggest that the proposed title is a matter of national English variants. :3 F4U (they/it) 21:22, 22 May 2023 (UTC)

TYPO or small mistake in the Nepal sub-section

The last sentence in the A-level#Nepal sub-section begins with

In Nepali, students generally appear [...]

which is not correct. As shown by the quote

"People who live in Nepal, we call them Nepali,"

["search results page"] https://www.google.com/search?q=%2BNepali%2C+Nepal under "People also ask:" / "What do you call a person from Nepal?"), it is clear that either [a] the final letter of the word "Nepali" should be deleted, or else [b] the first word ("In") of that sentence, and the first comma of that sentence, should both be deleted.

I do not care which solution is chosen, but clearly the current version is not correct.

List of subjects

I've reverted the removal by another editor of the section Subjects offered at A level, which links to List of Advanced Level subjects. I do think there is a case for this removal per WP:NOTDIR, but as it is a significant change to the article I wanted to bring it here for consensus. Tacyarg (talk) 15:54, 11 June 2026 (UTC)
