A-0 (i.e. zero) is alphabetized in the main index as A-O (i.e. capital o)

What did this language look like? I can't seem to find much information about this language on Google -- in fact most hits are pages that seem to just be copies of this article. What did A-0 source code "look" like? Or has A-0 code never ever been released, collecting dust somewhere in the vaults of the Pentagon's basements?? --I am not good at running 18:40, 1 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Proposed Corrections and Changes

[edit]

This entry is taken almost verbatim from FOLDOC. The research I've been doing indicates a number of errors:

  1. A-0 was not the name of a language but the compiler
  2. The A-0 compiler was only used on Univac I
  3. The A-0 compiler was written by Grace Hopper
  4. The A-0 compiler did not use a three-address code convention

Any feedback or corrections are welcomed.A B Carter (talk) 14:17, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

A-o

[edit]

I too would be interested in seeing what the A-o (compiler) language looked like, and what the name of the language was. Article kind of hints it was COBOL but not really. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.84.231.3 (talk) 20:04, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
