Inactivation or redesigation
[edit]No source is cited for the wing being inactivated in January 2011, rather than being redesignated 917th Fighter Group (and the action occurred on 1 January). I do not believe the wing was inactivated and the 917th Operations Group was redesignated. Instead the group was inactivated. Any source for this? --Lineagegeek (talk) 15:22, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
