I started to write an article on my own as well in French from the English sources I could gather – I like the idea of having articles with different perspectives for each Wikipedia version, while importing valuable information from other wikis. Do you have a source on this? AFAIK "Kohti Vapautta" is named after the Independence Day rally, not the other way around, and isn't involved in the independence day rallies. RKT7789 (talk) 07:12, 17 March 2025 (UTC)

Not far-right

Hi, I'm wondering why it says the march is far-right-wing, when thats more of an opinion. Just because some people who join the march wear far-right symbols doesn't mean the whole march is far-right in my opinion. Would it be okay to change it, and possibly add a section or sentence about the politics of the march? Like, "some people say it's far-right". As far as I'm aware, the march is non-political, but many far-right identifying people have joined and tried to claim the march. Let me know if I can change some of the stuff I've talked about into the article, of course with sited sources! Thanks in advance. Alikersantti (talk) 10:39, 1 December 2025 (UTC)

Like I said in my edit notations,

'The article on 'Hammer House' mentioned that "..leaders of Sinimustat & some attendees of the 612 march were seen entering". This is not enough for the statement that "hammer house hosts members of the 612-march", which though technically true, implies that they have an official, or at the very least a much larger role beyond a handful of attendees entering'

'Removed the 'Participating Organisations' -section, as neither 612 or those organisations have had any official or major co-operation with each other. A few members of an organisation attending the event is not equivalent with organisational support. Added mentions of both Suomi Herää, a far-right march & to the Helsinki Ilman Natseja -protest'

Neither the 612 march nor the 612.fi unregistered organisation are designated as far-right by the finnish police force or SUPO. To my knowledge they are not designated as far-right by any other governmental or international anti-hate organisation, foreign or domestic.

You can feel free to write a section on the connections to the far-right, but you must keep it up to wikipedia standards i.e. not just listing organisations based on one article without citations. Mustanaamiotto (talk) 22:43, 19 December 2025 (UTC)

In the light of this, I think the far-right aspect needs to be discussed. If you look at similar articles, like Unite the Right rally and January 6 United States Capitol attack, they list organizations based on members appearing, despite of there not being some sort of official agreement.RKT7789 (talk) 00:07, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
