Plague in Britain?

[edit]

I have removed the entry on the Cyprian Plague in Britain since the cited reference itself (a History.com article) seemed to be more speculative than providing certainty that there was a second outbreak of the Cyprian Plague in 444. It seemed like the sourced article was trying to make sense of the mention of plague by Gildas in 'roughly' the same period by equating it to the next earliest chronological plague. Please though, if there is better evidence that the Cyprian Plague did re-emerge in the 440's, then feel free to reverse the edit. Ealdwin (talk) 03:43, 8 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
