Correction (LDS event history)

[edit]

The "(LDS) Destruction of Nephites by Lamanites" entry was moved to 385. Although Moroni was a Nephite and was still alive around 421 when he buried the Golden Plates, the main destruction of the Nephites by the Lamanites took place during the final battle at Cumorah in 385 A.D. After that battle, all of the Nephites save Moroni were either hunted down and killed or absorbed into the Lamanites' culture, so essentially there was no Nephite nation after 385.
