Bill Clinton as "42"

Per request:

US Presidents are sometimes nicknamed by their ordinal number. By far the most common use of this appellation to date has been to distinguish the two living holders of that office named "George Bush", dubbing them "Bush 41" and "Bush 43", or by reduction, just "41" and "43".

However, it is not unique to just them. Even though the popularity of this numerically-based moniker is undoubtedly due to the example led by the Bushes, it's a stretch to say that "two presidents of the same last name" is the only time this construct would ever be used, as the edit summary for the original deletion strongly implied.

As recently as today, former President Bill Clinton sent a tweet using that coinage in reference to both GHWB and himself:

“ 41 and Barbara—thinking about you both and sending wishes for a speedy recovery. Love, 42. ”

Given the existence of this usage for presidents other than the Bushes (although definitely not to the same extent as it is used for them), it seems reasonable to have an entry on this dab page noting that "42" is a possible title referring to Bill Clinton.--NapoliRoma (talk) 07:02, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
