Don't just add something only because it contains "23"

[edit]

The simple presence of the number 23 in media and pop culture doesn't automatically mean it was chosen because of the enigma theory. Sometimes a jersey or a story element has 23 and that's all there is to it.

The point of the article is "23 enigma" and not "any time ever the number 23 showed up out of context".

When adding references to properties containing 23, make sure a source explicitly proves the presence of the number has context to the 23 enigma, was chosen in relationship to the article... otherwise, it's just a number. ~2026-51722-77 (talk) 16:24, 25 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

The 23 enigma is regarded as a corollary of the Law of Fives because 2 + 3 = 5.

[edit]

Arrant nonsense. You're adding numbers to get the number you 1st thought of. A corollary is a theorem of less importance which can be readily deduced from a previous, more notable statement. This is not a corollary. Other places you get to multiply to get more numbers (surprise, surprise). Mmmarkkk (talk) 13:50, 30 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
