I am puzzled about the following entry:

Clodomir I, king of the Sicambri (Western Franks).

Information about any of the Germanic tribes in the third century BC is unusual. And from my reading of Gregory of Tours & a few Frankish histories, I do no remember any historical events concerning the Franks this early in time. Could this be an error for AD 232? I did find a reference to the Sicambri that can be dated to that year.

If I don't hear a response about this item in a reasonable time, I will go ahead & delete this entry. I don't have the resources to verify the Illyrian events, so I'll leave them for someone else to deal with. -- llywrch 03:46 Mar 27, 2003 (UTC)
