2025 China–Philippine espionage cases → 2025 China–Philippines espionage cases exchange – For clarity and per WP:PRECISE, the article is about a phenomenon that appears to be an exchange. Also, without the additional word, the "espionage cases" in the title would come out like a product of a cooperation, as in the title "China–Philippines relations". Comment "Exchange" of what? The proposed title is confusing for another reason. For me it implies that there is a prisoner exchange being negotiated which to my knowledge has not even happened yet. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 06:35, 1 May 2025 (UTC)

Oppose, as per Hariboneagle927, and for most Wikipedia article titles, "cases" refer to criminal cases, which is the case (pardon the pun) here. See for example Category:Trials in the Philippines. Howard the Duck (talk) 11:03, 1 May 2025 (UTC)

I dunno if this was bad education leading to bad grammar, but was perhaps the initiator referring to a spy exchange, or to a prisoner exchange? "20xx China–Philippines prisoner exchange" would have been a good title if there already was a prisoner exchange. Obviously, China picked up these Filipinos for the sole purpose of exchange it with the already imprisoned Chinese. Howard the Duck (talk) 12:25, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

I suppose the WP:PRECISE term is "prisoner exchange" or "espionage case" if there isn't any exchanges yet, not "espionage case exchange"... that sounds like exchange espionage cases in between justice systems?
