Several games repeating

[edit]

I'm thinking about the regulation games, and I've noticed that, as the respective teams also will meet teams from the other divisions, several games are repeatedly mentioned. Should we keep it that way? Or should we create a new seperate headline named "Games", and throw in all regulation games there? HeyMid (contribs) 21:53, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Regarding Luleå HF and Red Bull Salzburg

[edit]

Some users seem to believe that (a) Luleå HF is already guaranteed a playoff spot, and (b) Red Bull Salzburg will finish second in their division or will replace the worst second ranked team in their division. To be honest, that is not the case, at least not at the moment. Regarding Luleå, there are valid scenarios that may make them miss the playoffs; for example, if Adler Mannheim takes three points, as well as TPS, Luleå would miss the playoffs as they would then be the worst second ranked team based on goal difference. Regarding Salzburg, they still may lose their top two spot in their division, assumed that either of TPS, Färjestad and Eisbären win their last game. So please wait for today's games to be concluded before assuming anything. The only two things we know right now regarding the playoff spots is that (a) Jokerit and Frölunda will finish first in their respective division, and (b) Luleå will finish second in their division but may not necessarily reach the playoffs.
